If you rode BMX in the 80s, Rockville was THE bike/mailorder shop, and its catalog was your bible. Twice a year I’d await the latest Rockville catalog to arrive in the mail, much as I would the latest Freestylin’ or BMX Action Magazine…

Some of you kids might not recognize the name Jared Souney but he used to be a photographer and associate editor over at Ride BMX Magazine from 1999 to 2001. He’s living in Portland now and running a photography / design studio. His website has been on my list of go-to spots lately on the internet and he’s been keeping it fairly up-to-date and interesting. If you have some time, head on over there and check it out.
