Mike's physical therapist has been focusing on helping him to strengthen his right knee and hip, as well as his right hand. He continues to show improvement and is very excited by how far he has been able to come in such a short amount of time.

I was asked to write a short story about the jam we held for Mikey Aitken on Nov 15th. Well, I think it’s pretty easy to say that the Northeast is a huge Mikey fan. The jam was held at Haven Skatepark in North Haven, Connecticut. Not having an exact count, we estimated there were around 300 people throughout the night coming from all over PA, Rhode Island, Mass, and NY. We raised almost six thousands dollars. It was a great night of fun and an awesome display of riding. We had a huge raffle with a lot of great prizes from a ton of companies who so generously donated.

Johnny is auctioning his custom FBM for Mikey!

This is custom FBM frame that i built around 3 months ago. Its has a 20 3/4 toptube length, 75 degree heatube, 71 degree seatube, 11.5/8 bottom bracket height, and 13.3/8 slammed backend length. The toptube is 1.3/8 supertherm, the downtube 1 1/2double butted heat treated, chainstays 7/8 x .035, seatstays 3/4 x .035 with a mid bottom bracket and integrated headtube with gyro tab holes, and weighs about 4.5 lbs.

Mike has been working hard in therapy and continues to improve every day. The big news - He rode a bike around a parking lot yesterday, and even did a wheelie over a speed bump! You just can’t keep Mike from doing what he loves.

One of a kind New Era hats

We have two colorways of the Flap ya Jacks New Era that aren’t going into production that are up for auction on eBay. These Red and Blue caps are one of a kind, and the colorway that is going to be made won’t be out for a couple of weeks. Everything we get from the auctions is going to Aitken. It was somewhat of a last minute idea for me and all the locals to throw a jam at our local trail spot in NJ (Jennings trails/AREA) to raise up some cash money for these two riders that are down and out at the moment. We mananged to get an estimated 40-50 people to come out and freeze their asses off in 35-39 degree weather for such an amazing day and an even better cause!! Total money raised was $555.00. Half will be going to Stephen and half to Mikey!
